Breakin Bones Composition Skateboarding is something I picked up when I was about eleven years old I always watched my brother skate with his friends and wanted to be just like him for as long as I could remember It just looked like a fun new thing to do and I am the type of person that will try anything so I was like why not I knew that I liked adrenaline speed and it was good exercise The more I skated around town the more I fell in love with it The feeling of total freedom and weightlessness as you glide through the air over a ramp or the way the wind feels while going down the gnarliest hill in town and not bailing out Just knowing the only way to pull it off is to say to hell with the consequences this is something I must do Then the feeling of adrenaline inside after pulling something off that I thought I could never do As I continued to skate I learned more and more about myself I learned about my fears my boundaries and how to overcome them I also learned determination to never give up and I that the only reason I was afraid to try anything was because I was afraid to lose These are all things that I can apply to different parts of my life in more ways than I would have ever imagined I never would have thought when I began to skate that I would learn such things from something as fun as it is to me My hobby of skateboarding also allows me to experience things such as feelings of total euphoria and peace It is one of the most
