In this paper will cover bulling in schools and with social media Bullying in schools has become a big issue in the last 10 years Also among schools ages you can see the difference in grades The data shows that the younger the students the higher rate in bullying The difference in male and females being bullied is more than 10 Per cyberbullyingus 251 of females have been bullied in their lifetime to the 166 males It also says that girls that get bullied have a higher percent of inflicting harm on them selves But males have a higher rate of suicide Another thing that has picked up in the last 5 years is cyber bullying With the rise of social networks and the Internet the rise in cyber bulling on the Internet has went up also 213 of girls ages 10-18 and 175 of boys ages 10-18 have been cyber bullied in their lifetime For females 182 of them have had someone post hurtful comments about them online and 105 males have had harmful things posted about them Even with the rise of camera phones and video devices one percent isnt as high is someone has posted a mean video about me online is only 36 and 23 for boys and girls Research shows that half of all children are bullied at some time during their school years After reading 55 facts of bullying I learned a lot for example more than 10 are bullied regularly research show that more parents are allowing their young children to undergo plastic surgery to combat bullying As an example Samantha Shaw a 1st grader underwent surgery to get her ears pinned back to prevent her from being bullied The word bully was first used in 1530 and originally applied to both genders and meant sweetheart Over 30 of children who suffer a food allergy report having been bullied at school While verbal abuse
