"You did a really great job on this compare and contrast essay. I really enjoyed reading your thoughts about the two stories and their reflections on how the stories are connected, yet different. You did a great job highlighting the areas in which communication broke down, which became a central theme in both short stories. Two things that could be strengthened are the introduction and the thesis. The introduction begins very abruptly, which is a bit awkward. Creating a way to draw a reader in would help smooth this introduction out. In addition, working on tightening up the thesis would also help. The way the thesis is written at the moment, it is a bit too wordy and drawn out. A thesis needs to be short, concise, and focused. However, after those few fixes, this essay will be a strong one for submission."
