"You provide a good overview of the Cuban missile crisis, and it's notable that you end your paper with your own reflections on its consequences for the different countries involved. From here, addressing writing convention errors will strengthen the work. Hyphenating compound modifiers that precede a noun (e.g., US-owned companies) will make various statements easier to read. When referring to decades such as the 1960s, no apostrophe is needed between the zero and the "s" because no content is being omitted. The "s" is being added to make the term plural in meaning. Meanwhile, specific dates that feature at least a month and a day should feature the day as a cardinal number (no suffix such as -th). Maintaining consistency with your capitalization of the term "communism" and related forms of the word will make your work look neater. Notable figures are typically introduced by first and last name before being referred to by last name only. (Of course, using first names after an introduction makes sense if people share a last name.)"
