Comparing and Contrasting Chief Dan George once said The young and the old are closest to life There are obvious differences between an old man and a child yet very similar We can see the difference in a behavior pattern physical and psychological way But in the same way ironically we can find the similarity Even though there is a clear difference that one is ending his life and another is starting his life they are both pure-hearted human beings Old men are obviously different from children in a way that they are ending their life so their strength is weakened and their body sometimes can not perform the best They attach importance to honor in other word they are affectionate toward their family or name They seek after stability in their life and though their experiences they know exactly whats a threat for them and they do not want any of them They seem to be selfish because they do not want let go of their properties that they earn through their life And lastly they are very dependent and need family or friends who can take care of them A child is starting a life The direction that they are going is entirely opposite from the old man but ironically they are similar with old man in a way that their strength is weak and their body can not fully function They do not know the importance of the family yet and they just believe that they can depend on their family Since they do not have many experiences they make a lot of mistakes which are sometimes very dangerous to them They just do whatever they want They do not know what the ownership means but they do not want to share and let go of their toys And like the old man they are very dependent and definitely they need special care from their family It is
