Compromising is one direct conflict resolutionstrategy that society teaches children to implement during conflictsresolution and the tendency where both parties feel they have got theirway by overlooking the conflict Furthermore focusing blame on eachother and the thoughts and ideas should also be viewed objectively Inaddition it is the prevention of fight promotion of peace and sense offair settlement as the parties are willing to make concessions theoutcome to appeasing to both parties They feel completely satisfiedbecause the participants both win and lose something in value Accordingto Denton 2007 compromise is the peoples awareness of thesituation giving an insight into how they can achieve their own goalswithout undermining those of other people and the development meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of futuregenerations to meet their own needs Which further explains thatcompromise both parties have made a difference on a social levelwithout compromising artistic integrity everyone giving up somethingand the compromiser him- or herself also expects to relinquishsomething Additionally the indirect message of this conflict resolution is thatboth partiess value judgments are made on the basis of the differentstyles For example if one disputant disagree and one represents hisviews and feelings forcefully with a raised voice another morerestrained and other one sees it as arrogant Another indirect messageof this two conflict resolution is that compromise would not be reachedif an individual has not got the common opinion to agree to thecontributing to resolve the issue An example is related to the samesituation when a boss harasses an employee they both simply havedifferent opinions It doesnt work well at all when one side is clearlywrong The employee or colleague will not compromise with the boss andrelate the situation as sexual harassment
