Bridget's feedback:
"This is a well-argued, clearly organized paper. The writing is smooth and flows well, and your use of specific terminology, studies, and word choice establish solid ethos. My main comment on this paper is that the purpose is somewhat unclear considering the current context. Your investigation is focused on a pre-2000 landscape. Do you want to frame this as an essay on early approaches to internet addiction? This is a perfectly acceptable project--just signpost this for the reader and approach the sources as such. Or, do you want to update your information by adding to what you have? It's really interesting to see how we are still asking similar questions and running into similar complications in defining internet addiction--the main contours of your argument are still tenable today! But an updated discussion will certainly need to encompass social media and other major developments. Finally, I will recommend proofreading for clarity and awkward phrasing, and making sure the paper is formatted in a way that helps with readability."
