After all these months of agony after being involved in excruciating scientific research and experiments it is time for another but of much less risk I am to live ten long miserable years on a lonely tropical island in complete isolation To overcome discontentment from the lack of socialisation I have chosen five remarkable books to endure any type of mood and to remind one what it is like to be a Martian The first space in my bookshelf of five will be reserved for The Ruby In The Smoke by Phillip Pullman An ecstatic novel concerning Sally Lockhart an uncommonly pretty eighteen year old girl Her knowledge of English literature French History Art Music are non-existent However she has thorough grounding in military tactics and has the ability to run a business The mystery unfolds as she explores deep onto her fathers suspicious drowning in the South China Sea An electrifying story line full of rage excitement and humour an invisible companionship Yet not all of my list of five books should be related to betrayal Out of the books I have read that involve faith and belief Stephen Kings Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption is prominent like the milky moon in the never-ending night sky The story takes place in the town of Maine where the innocent banker Andy Dufresne is wrongfully accused for the murdering of his wife and a golf player Mr Dufresne is found guilty and is condemned to two life sentences in the dreaded Shawshank maximum-security prison Throughout his life in this complex Andy becomes a close friend to the character of Red who is better known as the man who can get it for you Furthermore he makes the Shawshank Prison vivacious with the aid of the library and music for the fellow convicts This book will at least evoke my mind that these ten lonesome years can only be persevered by hope and motivation
