"The basic structure of your essay is fine, and you do effectively inform the reader of your thoughts on designer babies throughout the essay. However, instead of referring to genetic engineering in a general sense, you should clarify in your introduction that the scope of your work is focused on genetically modified human embryos. While you might also be against all genetic engineering period, the evidence and reasoning you provide centers on designer babies, so your paper would be stronger if you did some revision to ensure that you limit your discussion to the topic at hand. The most problematic aspect of your essay is your reliance on quotes from Tenzin Gyatso. Because you make it clear in your reasoning that you believe in a Christian God and that this is part of why you disagree with the creation of designer babies, it is odd that you would turn to a Tibetan Buddhist for supporting pieces of evidence since Tibetan Buddhists (and Buddhists in general) don't believe in a creator God. A thorough edit of your work to recast run-on sentences and ensure that questions end with a question mark and not a period would improve the quality of your writing. Note that double quotation marks, not single quotes, should be used consistently throughout the work."
