Getting into shape is all the rave in the new millennium Every time you open a newspaper magazine or turn on the TV you are bound to read or hear something about getting in shape and exercising Everything is also low carb or low sugar these days as well Society is infatuated with the exercise craze I started exercising while in the military because we were given extra time during our workday to exercise At first I was just going to get out of work and I was only going through the motions After a while I decided that if I was going to do this every day I might as well take it serious So I sat down and analyzed my personal situation In order to get into shape you need a well thought out plan So you want to get into shape Well the first thing you need to do is sit down and decide what your goals are Everyones body is different so we all have different goals Some people are small and want to bulk up so they are going to concentrate on lifting weights first building strength and then lifting heavier for more bulk Others are overweight and want to trim down the pounds so they are going to concentrate on lighter weights and more cardiovascular training And even others are right in the middle and want to just tone up what they have They will combine strength training and cardio So we all have different goals in our exercise programs You have to decide what is right for you The next thing you need to look at is your diet This is where most people have the biggest trouble They think that if they work out really hard that they can eat whatever they want For those who are genetic freaks this may be the case But for the majority of us this is not true Establishing your diet
