In todays society we have millions of people divorcing each year Statistics over the last two decades tell us that about half of all marriages will end in divorce Divorce in the United States is becoming more prevalent and steadily increasing every year The average American is predicted to have two to three divorces over their lifetime The question that arises in my mind is Why would anyone want to get married when the odds say that it will end in divorce why do people have problems staying together Through this research paper we will discover why In order to understand why people get divorced we will have to understand why people get married in the first place Is it just infatuation true love kids being born out of wed lock prearranged marriages or financial reasons These maybe some reasons why some decide to take the plunge in the US yearly Could it just be inevitable that two will eventually join together At least people in todays society like to think so With the entertainment communities array of marriages and hook-ups occur quite often Most religious organizations in the US believe that marriage is scared that keeps one from committing sin against their Gods kingdom When a man joins with a woman they become one flesh that cannot be separated But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife and they twain shall be one flesh so then they are no more twain but one flesh What therefore God hath joined together let not man put asunder Mark 106-9 They must learn to share the space that is providing between the two of them There cannot be any separation of thought and way always agree to median For good or bad they must make it until death do them part One question
