"This analysis of Birdshot is off to a good start. You've definitely inspired me to check the film out! You've got your ideas on the page: an analysis of how the film portrays injustice and abuse of power, plus a real-life example. Next, you will want to start refining the organization and argumentation to make sure these two moving parts are working together to create a persuasive overall presentation. First, I suggest tightening up the analysis of the film. Right now, it relies heavily on summary. Back up broad claims with evidence from the film or other sources (for example, explain what is "the right process," para. 4); cite using the APA 7 author-date format. Second, spend time guiding your reader from the movie into the example. Right now, it is unclear if this example relates specifically to elements from the movie (is the movie about sugar cane laborers?) or if it is a broader example. If it is a broader example, it will be really important to explain exactly why or how it illuminates the film's themes, message, plot, or character. The language in the second to last paragraph ("There are also cases somehow related") ends up working against building connections ("somehow" is vague and suggests uncertainty). Use more direct, clear, and assertive language to help the reader through your discussion of how the movie presents an urgent and current message."
