How does critical thinking create a bridge to humanity I think it pertains to IQ intelligence and learning disabilities but I saw the question as problems toward critical thinking As I saw problems in critical thinking I decided to research the question is how do learning disabilities affect students The reason I chose this question is that I faced the same challenges a student with disabilities had such as special accommodations separate testing and different classroom settings to meet my needs In addition I am hoping to learn more than one legislative act that deals with learning disabilities like the No Child Left behind Act but other acts that dealt with learning disabilities However the steps I took as I searched are that I attempted to type the question into Google which gave me a general idea of learning disability The reason I found this helpful is that I had some background information to support some of my sub questions Secondly I have seen research studies that discussed the overall classroom performance and legislation laws that were amended to place to protect students that have learning disabilities Then I planned to look at scholarly databases such as NC Live that pertained to my topic and find research studies These sources were helpful because it gave me more insightful ideas towards my topic Finally I did a series of interviews to give insight on my research and I read a book named Freak the Mighty I found the interviews to be helpful because an interviewer named Linda Hanchey gave me some thorough insight on what she observed in her teaching and the signs that a student may have a learning disability The challenges that I faced as I started my topic on learning disabilities is that it was hard to think of questions that were not so broad which I kept on with the critical thinking idea before I started researching Also I could not
