Bridget's feedback:
"You are working with a lot of information in exploring this complex topic, and this draft is a solid building block in the process as you organize your thoughts and research in writing. As you consider how to present the information, make sure the scholarly literature guides the discussion. For this topic and considering the amount of claims in the current draft, the handful of citations doesn't appear to cover the ground a reader of this topic would expect. Descriptions of behaviors should be sourced, for example. I notice, too, a long quote on page 2. Try to avoid relying too much on long chunks of quoted material; review that quote and consider what the aims of presenting it in full are.
As you keep moving forward, start thinking about formatting and presentation. Long dense paragraphs have their use, but they also can visually overwhelm readers and give the impression that the discussion is without movement or nuance. I recommend a reverse outline in looking for opportunities to finetune the paragraphing. Make sure your line spacing and page formatting align with your style guide, and aim for clarity and efficiency of language when revising and proofreading."
