"You've put together a focused essay, creating clear parallels between the specific elements from Homer's poem and real life (the two "texts"). The argumentation uses good details from each text to create the connections. You will want to make sure you bring it all in for a landing using a dedicated concluding paragraph at the end; right now, the discussion ends abruptly after the third obstacle. I also recommend using your transition sentences at the beginning of the paragraphs (as part of the topic sentence) rather than at the end of the previous paragraph--this will help guide the reader more smoothly. The introduction has a lot of summary. While you do a good job of distilling the story down to its most important plot beats, I wonder if the reader is helped by all that detail right away. Consider giving the broadest plot summary in the introduction and then providing the important details as they become relevant to your discussion in the body paragraphs. Finally, make sure to proofread--I see a number of typos that, while they do not heavily impact clarity, do have a negative effect on ethos."
