"This is a thoughtful reflection that uses specific examples to create a detailed portrait. As your reader, I appreciated exploring the different genres with you, and your discussion of why you read and what you look for (relatability, connections) shows good self-awareness, building ethos as well as creating the argumentation in this essay. You've picked an effective epigraph to set the tone.
I think your next step is some polishing up. First, make sure to format according to MLA, including indents and line spacing. There are a few small issues that you should check MLA on, including when to use numerals and when to spell out numbers. I also suggest some proofreading and a bit of revision to streamline. For example, I thought the second sentence broke up the narrative flow since it doesn't ultimately deepen or enhance the first sentence. You have a really good sense of flow and organization so I think you could probably, as a writer, tighten up some other small areas in similar ways for greater impact."
