"You've done a great job going deep with this personal narrative, providing specific moments as well as broader "thematic" statements to bring the reader on a reflective journey. I found the moments of challenge compelling. Overall, your narrative voice is effective--it feels personal and real. My first recommendation is a solid proofread, including for typos--there are some areas where words seem to have gone missing (for example, the two middle incomplete sentences of the second paragraph). I also wanted to check whether your style guide or other conventions recommend capitalizing pronouns when referring to God or Jesus Christ (Him, He, etc.). You do a good job setting the scene in the opening paragraph, but it isn't clear that the rest of this essay is directly addressing Karen until the second page. I would suggest making this framework immediately obvious--that is, let the reader know sooner than later that Karen is being "spoken to" throughout this reflection."
