English 091 has taught me a variety of new different things which include grammar punctuation diction revising editing mechanics and conventions These prepared me to move on to the next course I also learned ten competencies to make a proficient and a professional essay I will show you how I improved and how I met those ten competencies with some accurate evidence to support my statements beyond this essay The course was a bit hard but I had the capacity to learn in a fast-paced class At the beginning of the course I realized how poor my grammar and my vocabulary were Eventually I started practicing my weakness by using MyWritingLab which helped me enormously Specifically According to the American Association of University Women Hispanic girls are the least likely to earn a college degree So the benefit I will get by passing this class is being a step closer to my associates degree Additionally it will also help me in my future career and be a step closer to becoming the first of my family to get a college degree Goal 1 which is recognizing how rhetorical contexts affect writing made me realized that it influences us in a lot of ways If youre not conscious of how rhetoric works you cant transform reading and writing in a professional way that will assist you in developing success in life For instance an essay without a topic wont make your point clear or understand your purpose Furthermore an essay without a purpose wont have meaning and the reader will be confused Also if you dont include your circumstance it wont show the audience how important this is to you Typically when you are writing to your audience you have to talk to them in a professional and educated way You absolutely cannot talk to your instructor like you do with your best friend You will have to choose your word choice carefully In
