Today I am going to teach you about evolution does anybody here know what evolution is my biology teacher Mr Kabod asked Everyone including me gazed at each other for a second as if we were looking for an answer in each others eyes but nothing The whole class wentsilent and looked down because we all knew that the teachers in Ethiopia had a habit of picking on students who make eye contact with them and demand an answer from the students whether we are familiar with the topic or not You I am talking to you What is evolution he asked I wasnt quite sure whom he was speaking to I gathered all my power and energy to peep on the teacher and the unfortunate student he was talking to The teacher glared at me with the scariest eyes I have ever seen I got up from my chair glanced at my friends who were sitting beside me as if I am saying my farewell before going to war and they responded well with pity and good luckexpressions I am talking to you why are you not answering my teacher yelled That startled meto death I thought I was going to die at that moment I swear my heart stopped for a second Uuuuh Evolution evolution is it to evolve into something I answered my teacher with another question There you go you couldnt say that earlier you wasted my time I couldnt quite figure out the teachers statement was it a good job but I shouldnt hesitate next time or did he actually think I wasted his time and that he was disappointed Anyways I shook my friends hand as if I was a hero who came back home after a victory Mr Kabod gave us an intense yetinteresting lecture about evolution afterward Even though these are not his exact word this is what I understand from his lecture After Charles
