Bridget's feedback:
"This is off to a good start. You've organized your main points into the body of the paper and have begun developing the supporting arguments for each point. Your writing has great flow and command of mechanics (grammar, punctuation).
As you move forward with this project, keep a few things in mind. Your opening is rather broad--consider a narrowed approach: start a little closer to your specific topic, which seems focused in the modern era. This brings me to the question of whether you want to focus the topic as well to a subsection of "crime" (the focus seems to be on violent crime).
Another main area to focus on is the use of sources. You listed APA formatting, but there is no evidence of citations in the text. Keep in mind that properly cited sources have a major impact on the reader's experience of the argument on a number of different levels: sources develop ethos, strengthen claims and argumentation, and show the reader the scope and scale of your project. And finally, a solid concluding paragraph will help wrap your argument up. Right now, ending on the "nurture" discussion of media feels rather abrupt."
