"This is a solidly argued and well-organized essay that makes good use of direct evidence from the text to build up each focused body paragraph. I would encourage you to push your conclusion a little deeper, particularly the idea of Meursault choosing physical control over people because personal emotional control is too difficult. You note several examples of how this allows him to act as if other people are objects and means. However, I notice this is referred to as an attitude of indifference, generally, whereas I think your evidence as a whole builds toward a more perceptive critique of his behavior as hardly neutral or amoral."
