Jenn's feedback:
"You have done an excellent job communicating the purpose of your essay and staying focused on that purpose throughout your writing. You are very straightforward and concise in the way that you provide information. This improves the clarity of the paper and helps with reading comprehension. I suggest that you do make sure to cite information that you obtained from another text, though. This way, you can avoid plagiarism issues. While you have a clear introduction that ends with a thesis statement that guides the rest of the paper, your paper does not end with a conclusion. Adding a conclusion will make the piece feel well-rounded and allows you to summarize the main points made in the body of the paper. The paper is neatly formatted, improving both reading comprehension and cohesiveness. For the most part, you also have a good handle on grammar, sentence structure, and punctuation, with only a few errors to be found."

Essays may be lightly modified for readability or to protect the anonymity of contributors, but we do not edit essay examples prior to publication. (And nope, we don't source our examples from our editing service! Check out our Privacy and Content Sharing policies for more information.)
