Dating Violence Insulting your date physically hitting your date and making your date feel uncomfortable or making him or her worry about his or her safety are a few examples of dating violence Dating violence is the abuse of one partner in a dating relationship by the other partner Abusive behavior can include harmful words or actions Any act by one partner designed to hurt or control another is a form of abuse Women are more likely to experience dating violence but in some cases men can experience it too If you do know how to prevent dating violence then that is good because you can establish better relationships and help other people out Theres a very good chance that there are people you know pretty well that have been the victim of dating violence The effects of dating violence can be quite grim Victims of abuse can undergo physical and emotional problems At times the results of dating violence can be rather deadly Dating can give you a good chance to examine who you are who you want to be and how you want others to see you or react to you You can also learn about building trust respect and affection Dating can help you find the answers to many things What type of a person you want to spend time with what qualities you want with your partner and quite possibly you might find someone who you will spend a very long time You acquire the qualities you admire in a person and those that matter less to you Having a good feeling about a relationship that youre in and the fact that you are feeling about happy about being in such a relationship can really be one of a kind At the same time theres nothing like the empty feeling of being mistreated by someone you care about You should treat your partner as you would like
