1Im sorry to say that I dont have many experiences in public speaking Ive made speeches to run for class offices in high school but they werent anything serious Other than that my speaking experiences are just conversational 2My writing experience doesnt include much more than my assignments for classes throughout the years A couple times I wrote an article for my school newspaper but thats pretty much it 3I hope to be a journalist or a radio broadcaster What I would love to do is move back to Boston and be a sports writer for the Boston Globe Since that is very unlikely I thought maybe I could be a food critic because I love food as well as cooking or write for a hip-hop magazine If for some reason I find out that my writing skills arent good enough I will try to go into radio either for sports or music 4I think my greatest strengths as a public speaker is Im loud I used to be an actor so I dont find it very hard to project my voice This helps me to speak in front of large groups and will hopefully help me to write amazing speeches 5My greatest strength as a writer is that I can be humorous I consider myself to be a funny person and often times try to incorporate it into my writing This backfires sometimes though because I end up trying using vernacular which doesnt come across very good in writing 6My specific goal is not to move around so much when I talk For some reason I feel like I never have a place to put my hands when Im speaking in front of large groups This results in me constantly moving trying to find a place to put them Hopefully I can figure something out to fix this problem 7I think my writing needs to improve in almost all aspects Hopefully though I will
