Space planning- The public areas have been separated to provide privacy Living dining and kitchen are interlocked and have an open concept design Meanwhile the bedrooms are located through a hallway to provide seclusion Balcony is accessible through the double glass door which is in the living room An extra storage closet offers organization and efficiency Moreover a walk in closet in the master bedroom provides more space for storage Greek columns are placed along the kitchen area as it adds elegance Ceiling- Ceilings are great places to add interest and it is an overlooked area for design pattern Thoughtful and well-proportioned trim work has been added to provide a sense of depth in the design The ceiling of the living room and the master bedroom has been enhanced as both of them are the principal rooms of the apartment Bulkhead with crown moulding runs across the perimeter of the both rooms Moreover coffered ceiling in the middle adds dynamism to the whole pattern Windows- To create an illusion of bigger rooms windows which were longer vertically were chosen Windows were strategically placed in the bedrooms living and dining area to provide maximum daylight Trim around the window adds elegance and attentiveness Materials- Tiles are placed at the entrance kitchen and bathrooms to keep in account the heavy wear and tear Meanwhile carpet was added to the bedroom areas as it is soft plush and soothing to the touch Lastly Hardwood flooring was added in living and dining room as it is a lavish hard surface which is also suitable for the moderate wear and tear in these active areas
