Bridget's feedback:
"This is a sensitive analysis of the personalities and characters that drive the play. The in media res opening should be revised so the reader knows what the essay will be about, including what text is being analyzed: they shouldn't have to piece together clues to determine this. Even if you are, for example, responding to a prompt that will be presented with your essay, it's good practice to state the purpose and reiterate the prompt for reader clarity and to demonstrate control over the project and concepts. Your conclusion is a good model of signposting and guiding the reader, in this case "out" of the essay; give the reader a similar "in" at the top of the essay.
Other areas to work with will include incorporating the quotations into your text more directly; consider colons to show relationships between evidence and claim. Some lower-order concerns include punctuation errors, including in proximity to quotations, and some awkward diction; use a thorough proofread to catch and smooth these out."
