Justice is a way of punishing people when they commit a crime Those who break a law or rule that has been put in place deserve to be punished humanely Justice is usually fair but on occasion it can be too light on those who commit crimes such as murder or theft The courtroom is often the scene that justice takes place There a judge along with a jury find what is the most suitable punishment if any is neccessary Often justice is hard to acheive because everyone has different thoughts and opinions on what is fair Usually the people that feel this punishment too light are the ones that have had the crime committed against them Those punished do not know the pain they have caused and think they do not deserve the sentence However justice is not a form of revenge Revenge occurs when one would like to take the law into their own hands or they are looking for payback Revenge is looked down on in society because brutality usually involved It is a lash-out of anger and is more harsh than fair Justice seems to be fair to the majority of the public and will remain so as long as most the people find it fair
