It would be wonderful for you to provide some evidence to support your ideas. For example, you might want to include an act of kindness that made a difference in your own life or one that made the newspapers. Showing how kindness has changed a person's life is a testament to its power and would make this essay stronger. You mention that "our generation is selfish and narcissistic". You may want to indicate which generation you are speaking about. Please also include some support for this statement, such as survey results, a statistical study, or anecdotal evidence. You have done a fine job at organizing this essay, and it is easy to follow your train of thought. The formatting is clean and neat. There are some issues with grammar that should be addressed before submitting this paper. This work is full of strong, emotional word pictures. However, there are a few places where the statements can be made more concise to improve the flow. For example, "Therefore, we need to go beyond ourselves and break through these barriers and encumbrances..." could be revised to "Therefore, we must go beyond ourselves to break the chains of selfishness"."
