No matter what every single day somebody is being judge and being label Whether or not an person is overweight underweight mentally challenged we are all being judge Being judge affects everyone in a different ways As a Mental Health supporter a part of my job is to support and to make sure their disabilities do not define them as a human being In my opinion having labels and judging people can be very detrimental of anyone regardless of their mental capabilities In my experiences some of the individuals Ive worked with do not realize theyre being label and judged whereas others are and then they will stand up for themselves and others For instants one of the Clients I was working with overheard a group of people saying rude things and commentating on how she talked She went straight up and explained to them that she has a disability but that she understands them completely and that her disability does not define her This one moment of strength and courage and confidence made those particular individuals realize that she has a voice and feelings as well In some cases having labels is actually a beneficial tool for the community and the individualsHaving labels may be a very good essential for our community It can define what exactly the diagnosis is When we find this first step out we can then proceed to the following steps We will find out what it exactly means by finding out the definition The cause or also known as Aetiology Incidence this means finding out how often the disability may happen The second last step will be finding out ways we can prevent this from reoccurring The last step is finding out the Characteristics of this disability These can be all defined whether or not its intellectual even anxiety disorders
