Sometimes it takes something unexpected to realize what is really important in life It can either be a wonderful experience that you can learn from or a traumatic encounter that may alter your whole outlook on life With that being said there are certain events that will urge some people to appreciate the relevant aspects in life One day I came across an event that brought me to realize that family is one of those vital things that should never be taken for grantedThe first day began with the usual routine a plain Saturday morning consisting of cooking cleaning washing and of course annoying family members I decided to pitch in by helping my cousin Nyla with breakfast We made the usual eggs bacon sausage links and pancakes I was tired of the dull pancakes and insisted on adding an extra ingredient Nyla agreed Cinnamon it is We then proceeded to set the table with paper plates along with the prepared breakfast As my siblings started to eat one of my sisters Victoria began to complain about the food as usual This food is not sitting well with meThis is when the argument began Just eat your food youre always something and never appreciate anything Victoria shouted her usual response to everything I dont care Words that could not be said in front of adults were exchanged during the heap of the argument As the dispute escalated and voices grew stronger everyone else got up from the table and proceeded to their roomsLater that day around noon Victoria started to cough vigorously A bit of bliss filled me at that moment I thought she deserved the arbitrary cough attacks for being rude and unappreciative earlier Soon after everything went downhill As she coughed she appeared to be viciously choking on something Her eyes began to fill with water and she then held her hand to her throat grasping for air At that moment
