"You seem to have some good ideas to work with, but this essay is full of issues that need to be addressed. You confront a specific proposed solution to a problem, yet your entire essay talks around the issue without directly addressing the problem, the proposed solution, or other possible solutions.

You spend the entire second paragraph reiterating that the situation surrounding climate change is, itself, changing. This paragraph has several problems. First, your point is unclear. Is it advisable to do anything to meet a challenge that is changing? The simple fact that it changes does not tell your reader much. Second, is it true that the situation is changing, or is our understanding of it changing? This point is not expanded upon at all in the paper; you simply state that the situation is changing and use that to refute a proposal.

Many sentences are worded in a confusing way. Be direct and clear about what your position is and what your arguments are against the position you intend to refute."
