"You are off to a good start with the use of textual evidence in demonstrating the interpretation of each story. I'd like to first discuss the body paragraphs, and specifically integrating your quotations into your text. It's a good idea to use some phrasing to lead in, as you do; with that framework in place, show your control over the text by removing the current phrasing ("This is shown...") and lead in with the interpretive language right way. For example, combine your observation about the waiter and the key phrases from the quotation: The younger waiter is very inconsiderate and impatient, complaining that the old man stays too late and going so far as to say, "He should have killed himself last week." As you can see, this streamlines the sentence and analyzes the quotation in the same sentence. Can you fuse other similar areas into fewer sentences? This will help keep the discussion moving and avoid redundancies. I think it will also help address the imbalance across the body paragraphs: notice that the middle one is much shorter than the first and third.

Once you've worked with the argumentation of the body, I urge you to nail down your thesis. The current thesis is pretty broad. Starting from the general point that each of the three stories shows real life, how can you narrow this direction down? I suggest looking at the three messages you've derived from each story and identifying overlapping themes that can be used to create a single overarching statement: what do the three stories, combined in this analysis, say about twentieth century life, relationships, people?"
