A woman goes to get her ultrasound She has been pregnant for 25 weeks and is anxious to know how her child is faring After examining the picture the doctor tells her that her unborn child is doing well and that he is going to be a healthy baby boy Even knowing that a child is going to be hard work she is overjoyed This is the reaction humans should have when they hear about this wonderful gift from God life Something to be cherished nurtured and protected To many of us life is a gift that we are not grateful enough for Life is especially mistreated when someone has an abortion is given the death penalty or uses drugs in an irresponsible way In the 5th commandment given to us as Christians it says Thou shall not kill Some people may be saying I am not Christian I dont have to do what their God says to do Well for starters the religions Judaism and Islam have the same God as us and the same patriarch Abraham just looked at differently As for Hinduism and Buddhism they also do not agree on the use of anything that can ruin the body or that which is violent These are the major religions of the world and their views should not be treated lightlyAbortion How easily the word is constructed by peoples mouths like the killing of an innocent unborn fetus is something that is acceptable even suggestible Life in its most fragile form eradicated like one would blow out a candle A pure sinless being given no chance to experience its endowment from God Pro-choice supporters say that killing a fetus is not equal to killing a human being In the Christian bible it says you knit me together in my mothers womb Psalms 13913 This verse tells us that from the moment of conception we are given the gift of life Pro-choice supporters also
