"Your essay is well-structured and tidy. Your discussion of The Great Gatsby demonstrates an understanding of the text, and you provide a sufficient analysis of each of your three themes.
Review your MLA formatting; for instance, your essay is missing a title, you have not italicized the title of the novel, you include an entry in your Works Cited that was not cited in text, and your in-text quotations are not integrated correctly.
I also noticed several grammar/punctuation errors, largely in the form of comma splices (when two independent clauses are separated by a comma). See, for example, this sentence: "Nick is unable to make any commitments in the story, the whole reason he came East was to escape his pending engagement." These clauses should be separated into two distinct sentences: "Nick is unable to make any commitments in the story. The whole reason he came East was to escape his pending engagement."
Adding more specific examples from the book in the form of short quotations would also be beneficial. Finally, consider revising your conclusion. Your conclusion should provide a summary of your main ideas and reiterate your thesis without introducing new content or additional arguments (for instance, your current conclusion ends by stating an idea -- that pursuit of the American Dream can cause corruption -- that was not really discussed earlier in your essay)."
