Angela's feedback:
"You provide a thoughtful discussion of how non-native English speakers approach English as a language, and you do a good job balancing your analysis of Tan's work with your own personal experiences. In terms of formatting, the first line of each paragraph should be indented by half an inch, and the page number header should be updated to feature your last name before the page number itself. Citations are typically provided for direct quotes. If you're writing in British English, then you should consistently use either single quotation marks or double quotation marks throughout the work instead of switching between the two. Double quotes should be used for American English. Note that "learnt" is fine for British English but that "learned" is much more common in American English. Further editing is needed to address various writing convention errors, especially those pertaining to your handling of pronouns."
