Most girls in fifth grade sit at home dreaming of the new crush or thinking about how fun a sleepover with their group of friends would be While they were doing this I was dreaming of competing at the Cheerleading Worlds in Orlando Florida where I would have the chance to own the world and become the newest world champion All-star cheerleading started to evolve in early 2005 Teams began to pop up everywhere and the pressure was on The new sport became the professional football league of the cheerleading world Performing the skills of each level and the competitive drive of the athletes goes back to the hard work they all put forth day in and day out in the practice gym For a typical team tryouts are held in late May and teams begin to practice a few weeks later The team attempts stunts and tumbling of their desired level and then gets a choreographed routine Only lasting two minutes and thirty seconds the routine is jam packed with many high difficulty stunts jumps a pyramid and tumblingIn order to execute such high level skills the athletes must dedicate themselves to the team and give one hundred percent effort one hundred percent of the time To become the best you must work as hard as you possibly can to achieve your goal whatever that may be Without hard work your dream will never come true Even professional football teams know that you dont win the Super Bowl with a blink of an eye it takes a lot of hard work When Hurricane Katrina destroyed New Orleans the football team The Saints had to work harder than ever to continue to do their best Their home playing field The Super Dome became a home for thousands of New Orleans residents whose homes were washed away in the hurricane Their games were then transferred out of New Orleans to San Antonio Texas Through
