Iva's feedback:
"The organization of your essay is straightforward and logical. Your introduction provides background information on what artifacts are and then clearly introduces two specific artifacts from your education that you will discuss. These are then both detailed in your body paragraphs, and your conclusion reemphasizes the importance of these artifacts to you (on a side note, your conclusion should be its own paragraph rather than the closing of your second body paragraph). The key revision that should be made is the addition of reflection in your body paragraphs. By this, I mean that it would strengthen your explanations of the artifacts you chose if you explained why they are the two that stand out to you out of all the artifacts you could have chosen. You seem to start to do that in the paragraph on the essay when you touch on how high school and college helped you learn English, but you do not connect this point to the essay itself (if it's a topic you discussed in the essay in a way that you're proud of, you should make sure to include that detail). Meanwhile, in the second body paragraph, you give the topic your speech was on but do not explain what about that speech made it memorable for you. For example, was it the first speech where you felt comfortable speaking in front of an audience? The same holds true for your conclusion. It includes a summary of why you chose each artifact, but it needs to provide a satisfying wrap-up that connects the two artifacts together and emphasizes their importance to you. Finally, your paper would benefit from a round of proofreading with a focus on comma usage, verb tense, and capitalization. After these changes, it will be good to go!"
