While in high school I needed to work on my time management I knew I needed to balance my athletics and academics as well as having a social life I went from football games and practices to studying for exams I knew it would be challenging to keep a steady gpa as these activities took up a majority of my time However I created a plan and was able to obtain a 27 gpa Time management was very essential in being successfulThe week following up to the game I forced myself to stay awake I stayed awake by leaving the lights on and drinking energy drinks I also made sure I set my alarm to wake me up 2 hours earlier so I could get some work done During the whole week I made sure I ate the right foods and also got the right amount of sleep I became very frustrated when I couldnt even think straight due to the fatigue that I was undergoing I also began to stress because I had the biggest exam and game all in the same week All I could think in my free time was how can I possible handle both things To get through my problems I had to call on a personal tutor and my teacher for hands on assistanceAs I walked in the locker room the day of the champion chip game all I could think was about all of my hard work that I put into this I was so nervous I couldnt even think straight or even get a full night of sleep As I looked at my teammates faces I could see that they were very excited and anxious I could also see that they were very nervous When all the coaches came in the locker room with us they said they wanted the team to stay on task Another reason my nerves were rattled is because
