Crystal's feedback:
"Fantastic job addressing the prompt! You craft a solid intro that highlights the two ways people learn news and identify the focus of your paper with a clear thesis statement, which offers the reader a clear road map of what to expect in your paper as a whole. Your topic sentences are also specific and concise while connecting clearly with your thesis statement, and your body paragraphs flow well and make strong points. However, both body paragraphs would be slightly stronger if you brought each back around to a "so what?" element--in other words, bring it back around to your topic sentence and thesis statement with a final statement that "proves" the statement you open the paragraph with. Finally, you write really well overall in terms of grammar/punctuation, writing mechanics, and flow, but the essay does have a few errors throughout. For instance, you use "readers" and "the reader's" in the last sentence of your sentence paragraph (the two should agree in number), and there's a run-on sentence in the second body paragraph (e.g., "The television also provides videos with narration[comma] so even those with..."). A thorough edit for small errors like that would ensure your essay is clean overall, while adding the "so what?" elements to the body paragraphs would ensure your body paragraphs are fully developed. Great writing overall with good flow and diction!"
