Children have this quality a nuisance yet admirable This quality isthat in the most fearful of situations children can be fearless Myyounger sister and I were at a farm It wasnt our farm but we werehelping our Uncle manage a farm for a friend while they were out oftown As a child I was always held under lock and key so I was afraidto do many things that other kids did without thinking twice My sisteron the other hand had not been so restrained She still had her fearsthough We came upon a trampoline one of the few things I was neverafraid of I was happy to get on and jump around However my sister wasafraid Like an understanding sister I helped her with her fears andgot her onto the trampoline and we had a wonderful time After a whilewe got off Later we came upon a large many-limbed oak tree I hadntever known the joy of climbing trees at the time so it was my turn tobe afraid My sister looked at the tree and decided she wanted to climbit even though she had never done so before I pushed through the fearand climbed anyways Then I realized why I had been so scared to climbit I was scared of heights When my sister climbed down the tree I wasinstantly paralyzed with fear Unlike me my sister thought othersfears are comedic I hadnt had a cell phone at the time and she wastoo young to be wondering the farm alone This meant that there was noway for us to get help My sister shimmied up the tree to help me climbdown After several minutes of me refusing to budge my sister gotimpatient She thought the best way to get me down was by force so sheshoved me right out of that tree As it turns out the height was largeenough for me to have a legitimate fear because I hit the ground andscreamed in
