Angela's feedback:
"Your main argument in support of no-kill shelters is easy to understand, and you do a good job of incorporating quotes in your essay. However, a specific piece of location information (such as a page number) is typically included in the citation for a direct quote. Moreover, single quotation marks should be nested in double quotation marks when you have a quote within a quote. When referring to decades such as the ’90s, take care to use an apostrophe and not an opening single quotation mark. An apostrophe is needed to signal that the numbers 1 and 9 have been omitted. You have a tendency to place commas where they’re not needed and may be distracting (e.g., in the phrases “selectively, and not” and “whole, and can.” The term “no-kill” should not be capitalized, and after introducing it in quotation marks, it should be used throughout the rest of your work without the quotes."
