Throughout the session I noticed the client a young woman kept referring to being worried most of the time Her worries aroused due to work and family events that have added stress to her life It seems these events have made her doubt her ability to perform her work duties and possibly arouse the fear of hurting others with her actions in this case her driving Due to her constant worrying she has notice an increase in her anxiety while driving specifically on the streets because here is where she finds many distractionsHer driving skills have become an obstacle for her to feel safe for herself and others She has tried different techniques to help her keep focus but then as time passes they dont seem to work This could be due her constant thinking on a situation that aroused during the day along with being over stimulated with the surroundings while driving on the streets Also her thinking on not letting her disability Attention Deficit Disorder intervene in her skills may be contributing to her anxiety as she is trying to be like someone who doesnt have a disability She mentioned how being labeled influenced the way she saw herself and how she pushed herself to overcome the difficulties that come with a disability This could be another factor in her anxiety as hearing negative feedback may regress her to her younger years of negativity and makes her question her skills as an adult She could also be confused and uncertain how to deal with the difficult situation she is experiencing at the same time and is transmitting her emotions to her driving A skill where you have to be constantly aware of your surroundings and cautious not hurt others or yourselfShe seems to be open to try new ideas to help her overcome her anxiety by exploring her emotions and past events She
