"You demonstrate good control of the text and the intricacies of the characters, and each half of the paper is soundly organized with solid internal logic. An area to target as you move forward will be in marrying the two halves of the paper in a purposeful manner. The thesis suggests a peek into Shakespeare's mind that doesn't currently sit easily with the actual analysis: unless the prompt asks for this angle of approach, I recommend keeping the analysis in the text itself, as the later biographical information doesn't target your opening claim, which would probably entail a radically different project on the page.

Some other adjustments to consider in the service of the above will be in reorganization. Have you considered streamlining and presenting the biographical/historical information first, moving into the analysis of the text second? Another approach might separate the information about the Globe and theater from the biographical paragraph and consider other moments where each best enhances the textual analysis. It may also be the case that some of that information is superfluous to the discussion: the best way to start in deciding if this is so will be in carefully reviewing the prompt."
