It was perfect The day was perfect the time was perfect the equipment was perfect everything was perfect My friend Bob and I go back a long time weve successfully completed many jobs together but none of them were as well planned as this one No mastermind could have thought of any better plan Our plan was to rob the Brinks security truck on May 18 2000 which was a Thursday 215 pm was the exact time we chose because that was when the truck was stoped on a red light at the intersection of Washington and George We had thought about it for weeks We had thought about it so much that it became part of our lives We had watched the truck and every week on Thursday at precisely 215 pm it was stopped at that intersection on a read light So we decided that this intersection was going to be the one We had picked up a few new gadgets such as a traffic light switch the one that emergency vehicles use a very portable cutting torch and some very potent anaesthetic in the form of a gas Of course we already had out fire power you know guns On the morning of May 18 we crawled into a sewer which was a few hundred yards from the intersection and left our car in a parking space next to the man hole When we were inside the man hole we made our way to the intersection convinentially there was another man hole right where the truck always stopped We held our positions until 210 pm Thats when we started getting out equipment ready We sot the traffic light switch up made sure it was working loaded our guns lit the torch and got the anaesthetic ready with the hose We had finished at exactly 214 so we waited At 21430 i started counting down aloud to prepare Bob 21455 21456 21457
