Standing behind the yellow lineI watched as the fishes drown in the streamThe birds suddenly come to be flightlessAnd the predators become the huntedI wonder how this could happen to the nature Im taking care ofDriving around one day I saw the environment changeI used to lie back and watch the stars sparkle but the night sky hasbecome greyerThe river where I used to fish is now dirtyThe air that has been here since forever has turned impureAnd I live as if I have nothing to worry aboutIt doesnt harm meI assumed the merciful trees would save me in times of despairThe compassionate waters will bring me ashore when Im in griefThe softhearted air will make my life brighter when Im gloomyBut I was wrong I was wrong to think that even nature is fair I waswrongWhen I said there would always be tomorrow for a better meI could have done something to change but insteadI let loose of my actions powerI sat silently like a child sucking on his thumbAnd begging for milk to his motherI compromise the world I live in not realizing I am compromising myselfas wellThe consequences of my actions have come to meWe complain with so much angerTo the air and not realizeIt is what we do not do thatMake our lives harder
