The focus of my leadership paper is my high school Marketing teacher Debra Wilson During the four years of my high school education Mrs Wilson was teacher She always acknowledged what a great leader should be not only at school or in the classroom but also outside of school campus She was my instructor for my Marketing and Accounting class and also was the club sponsor for DECA Last but now least Mrs Wilson was also in charge the high schools SBE which was named The Green and White Cookie Site A school-based enterprise SBE is an entrepreneurial operation in a school setting that provides goodsservices to meet the needs of the market I believed that my teacher Mrs Wilson was an exceptional choice for my leadership paper She has amazing leadership capabilities as well as her incomparable involvement with students and helping her students strive to succeed Chapter 1- The Nature and Importance of LeadershipMrs Wilson stated leadership is very important in any organization or community She believes that a high school teacher must have leadership qualities to set an example for their students to follow In order for myself to learn to lead or students to learn in general Mrs Wilson states that it is important for students to learn to lead to be successful One of main factors we study as being leaders are the roles in their organizations or communities As the many roles Mrs Wilson has come across over her many years of teaching she has found it essential to perform many rolesAs a figurehead Mrs Wilson justified I am an experienced teacher working in a profession environment where I am the one who makes the decisions She believes that DECA which is a club for an association of marketing students is her main figureheadAs a spokesperson She is a spokesperson for DECA talking on behalf
