Truly one of the greatest love stories of all time and also one of the saddest Baz Luhrmanns Romeo Juliet is definitely one of the greatest films of our times A touching story originally told by William Shakespeare that is an amazing story of young love and despair It takes the audience on such a dramatic roller-coaster ride of emotions that flow from the screen to us Love is a beautiful thing It is what each and every-one of us live for in some way it affects us As a famous group of philosophers once told me - All you need is love I think that is quite true to be in love is the greatest feeling to have your whole world turned completely upside-down and to be so focused on one person or thing is just so amazing and especially to know that the feeling is mutual it makes you feel on top of the world In Romeo and Juliet two star-crossed lovers from a world of violence and hatred Verona Beach Italy fall deeply in love and soon find themselves neck-deep in trouble Romeo Montague the son of one of the richest tycoons in the region one night stumbles across the young and nave Juliet He instantly falls for her and chases her and she too soon is struck with cupids arrow Soon the couple are arranging secret meetings and their bond of love just grows stronger and stronger This is only to make the situation worse for the pair when Romeo is banished for gaining revenge of his best friend Mercutio by killing the leader of the Capulet boys Tibbalt The environment that allows these killings to go ahead is what causes them to happen Gangs that carry weapons around as if it were normal a shooting or murder would be just another day in the life But the two gangs in this movie are the biggest in Verona and certainly
