Since the beginning of World War II females have taken a more active role in our everyday society They can be seen engaging in jobs that require brute strength determination and skill The younger generation of teens and young women are also giving a helping hand having the ability to complete task that were once only being done by young men and small boys But what other areas is this modern strengthening taking place Does this current advancement of stop in the workforce or could it branch off into other areas like athletics and recreation This question which is usually brought into conversations by gentlemen pertains to the differences between young women athletes and young men athletes Are the female teens that are still maturing and becoming comfortable with their bodies capable to withstand the drastic damage that team sports can take on them Parents of Small children and young adults are concerned on if injuries and the involvement in sports like basketball football and lacrosse could affect their daughters permanently However none of these questions make any consideration of whether it is wrong for the young girls to be engaged in sports like football on the middle school and high school level And even when people ask questions like these they always find an assortment of answers to justify that young girl should have the ability to join the team in the name of equal rights and women equality In DeKalb County there are currently no female athletes on any active football rosters Extreme sports fanatics of whom I am one believe that this should remain a constant component Can the pain that women endure be in any way compared to that of young menSafety of the players is always the number one rule in team sports Middle school is usually where the females body begins to mature and develop They encounter the
