"You have done a great job including details from the book that support the idea that Scrooge is miserable. You have also done a nice job formatting the body of the essay. The goal of the paper is currently unclear because there seems to be a disconnect between the introduction and the body of the paper. While there is a lot about helping the poor in the body of the paper, you're missing ideas in the text that support that people need to take responsibility for their actions. Your conclusion is also not clearly defined. The conclusion is an opportunity to summarize the main points made in the body of the essay which would also provide more clarity. From my reading, it does not feel like the information in the body of the paper flows in a logical manner. You talk about Stave 1 and Stave 3 and then talk about Stave 1 again. Consider combining all of the information about Stave 1 into one paragraph. Last, there are a large number of grammar, sentence structure, and punctuation errors that are making the essay much harder to comprehend. These can be resolved through a round of proofreading."
