Move over Survivor Big Brother and Amazing Race there is a new reality in the media and it is Miami Ink The popular craze of body art or tattoo is not just your clich individuals inmates servicemen and bikers it may be your doctor mother or even grandparent and it does not choose gender race or culture The most popular getting tattoos are youths and ranges from children to adults Temporary or permanent there is one out there for everyone Whether you choose to get a tattoo to express yourself individuality or a dare on a drunken night there may be consequences and regretsSome like to express their self through art whether it is body art a portrait symbol and name or initial there a story behind every piece of art work Body art is ones individuality a unique piece of art created by and a daily reminder of the cause you choseThe first and well liked reality show Survivor is not the big hit anymore now there is Miami ink a reality show of body art Ratings through the roof people watching and planning their next tattoo or a teenagers wishing he or she is of age The media itself drives us to follow the trend especially in teens what is popular People from models doctors maybe even your instructor are embracing art work that may surround limbs trunks lower back or ankle Your typical inmates or servicemen arent the only ones wearing art it varies from children with temporary tats or adults with permanent tats or even the ladies s that has their makeup tattooed never the less a tattoo has become an accessory to many and a disgust to others A personal decision of one likingTattoos may affect some stereotyping others of what they choose to do From jobs to the public in general Society is judgmental and critical of others some choose t o view
